Marielle Larré
has been translating German, Italian and English texts into French since 1987. As Publications Production Manager in the Communications Department of Pro Helvetia, the Swiss Arts Council, from 1987 to 2003, she translated, edited, and supervised the production of numerous books, press releases, annual reports, speeches, essays and literary texts, from manuscript to finished product.IA qualified media manager, while employed at Pro Helvetia Ms. Larré edited several series of books and was on the editorial board of the trilingual cultural magazine Passages. As head of an educational publishing house from 2003 to 2010, she is well acquainted with all aspects of publishing, from conception to finance and distribution.IMs. Larré is also a trained language teacher: after completing her university studies in English language and literature in Toulouse, she held teaching posts at secondary schools in France and Switzerland, and has also been active in the field of further education.IMs. Larré is a member of the Association suisse des Traducteurs, Terminologues et Interprètes (>>) and of the Dolmetscher- und Übersetzervereinigung Zürich (>>).
